We developed and implemented a customized Hydrocide for the municipality of Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu. The Hydrocide is an innovative system designed to eliminate weeds without the use of herbicides. It rests on a platform specially adapted to accommodate a gasoline-powered hot-water pressure washer. This cleaner is equipped with a powerful Vanguard gasoline engine generating a pressure of 3000 psi at a flow rate of 5 gpm, accompanied by a 388,000 BTU burner to ensure effective cleaning. Made of sturdy steel, this equipment is mounted on a platform incorporating a 325-gallon tank equipped with a level gauge. It also features a double-filtration filling system, as well as a 5-gallon antifreeze tank for cold-season winterization. In addition, it features a spray bell for weed control, a 24" trail broom, a manual reel and a mud pump system for added versatility.
